The Nancy Evans Rhododendron features openly funnel-shaped flowers that span 2½" across, with softly wavy lobes. The petals are a delicate pale yellow with subtle early orange shading on the lobes and reverse. Each rounded cluster comprises 19 flowers. Its narrowly elliptic to elliptic leaves are about 4" long, glossy, medium green, and exhibit a bronze tint when young. The plant maintains a rounded, compact growth habit.
