This complementary pair of hardy haskap shrubs from the University of Saskatchewan breeding program delivers exceptional fruit production in cold climates. Boreal Beauty ripens early to mid-August with large, sweet-tangy berries, while Boreal Beast matures mid to late July with honey-tinged flavour and superior disease resistance. Both reach 4–6 feet, thrive in Zone 2b, and produce 6–10 lbs annually when mature. Plant together for optimal pollination. These low-maintenance shrubs prefer well-drained, slightly acidic soil and grow 8–12 inches yearly. Haskaps contain more antioxidants, vitamin C, and minerals than blueberries, making them ideal for fresh eating, baking, and preserving. Powdery mildew-resistant. Seedlings are approximately 4–6 inches tall, one year old.
