Frill Ride Hydrangea is a bold hydrangea for a dynamic twist with rich dark pink almost red blooms and very frilly petals. So pronounced are the quantity and size of the blooms that you can barely see the leaves beneath. A great compact plant to just 2-3 feet tall and wide perfect for small spaces and containers. Trimming off faded flowers will encourage more flowers. Flower buds for the following year form in late summer to fall so no pruning after August! But at this compact size you’ll really never have to prune. Soil pH will not appreciably change flower colour.
