White Perfume Princess is a rare mutation of Pink Perfume Princess, distinguished by its pure white blooms. Like its predecessor, it is among the earliest and longest-flowering Daphnes and adapts well to container growing. This hybrid, derived from Daphne bholua and Daphne odora, combines the intense baby powder scent of the former with the tropical fragrance of the latter. Reaching about 3 feet in height and width, it produces abundant, highly fragrant white flower clusters from mid-winter through spring, contrasting vividly with its dense, dark green evergreen foliage. It thrives in well-drained soil with moderate fertility and tolerates both sun and shade.
