Cover Crops - Fall Soil Builder Blend

A winter hardy cover crop mix that helps protect and prepare your field and garden for next season's crops. Fall Soil Builder Blend is a mix of fall rye, Austrian winter peas and winter vetch that together adds nitrogen, suppresses weeds, adds organic matter, and helps prevent erosion. The fall rye establishes quickly to crowd out weeds. The peas and vetch fix nitrogen in the soil, making it readily available for the following crops. Incorporating the plants into the soil in the spring adds organic matter. 70% Fall Rye, 20% Austrian winter peas, 10% winter vetch, by weight.
