Marushka Azalea is an evergreen azalea that grows about 50cm high, with a compact, spreading habit, and small, glossy, ovate leaves that open bright green, mature to dark green and turn dark purple-bronze, almost black in winter. The contrast of winter and spring foliage gives a marked two-tone effect, alongside clusters of rich red flowers in late spring
