The Elizabeth Bush Anemone is a more compact variety than the typical species, reaching up to 6 feet in height and 3 feet in width. Its blossoms are smaller, approximately 1.5 inches across, yet this cultivar produces a greater abundance of flowers that maintain the same pleasing fragrance. Blooms appear in clusters of as many as 20. This cultivar honours California botanist Elizabeth McClintock (1912–2004).
