A grower favorite since it was introduced, Black Magic is the lacinato variety to choose for heavy yields of dark green savoyed leaves. Upright plants are compact and easy to grow. The long, slender leaves are a pinch to wash and chop. Better consistency of colour and leaf shape than other open pollinated lacinato types. Plants grow 60-80cm (24-32") tall.
