A hybrid Rabbit-eye blueberry (Vaccinium virgatum), Summer Sunset Blueberry can grow to a height of 5 feet with a spread of about 5 feet. Requires moist but well drained soil, preferably on the sandy side to avoid standing water and slightly more acidic. Does well in full sun but can tolerate some light shade.

This variety is self-infertile so will require another Rabbit-eye blueberry for proper pollination, it pairs well with the Pink Lemonade Blueberry.
