Originating from the Nikita Botanic Garden in Yalta, Ukraine, the Premier Olive Tree™ is prized for producing abundant crops of large, flavorful olives. It thrives in a warm, sheltered spot with half a day to full sun exposure and requires well-drained soil. While pollination needs are not fully certain, it is advisable to plant Premier™ alongside a different olive variety. Since olives are wind-pollinated, trees should be spaced within 20 feet. Hand pollination with a small brush can improve fruit set by transferring pollen between flowers.
