Tamopan Persimmon skin is shiny, reddish orange. The fruit of this persimmon is extra-large, with an acorn-like cap. Excellent for cooking when firm or soft. This upright tree grows to 20-30 feet and spreads 18-25 feet. In autumn, its brilliant red-orange foliage brightens the landscape. Great for fresh eating or made into a jam.
